I am moving to Qapu Khalqi

So I am changing factions to the Haqqislam sectoral effective immediately. They have everything I want in a list. Check this out!

An MSV2 link team with HMG!? Yes please!

GROUP 1:
Djanbazan with HMG
Djanbazan with Sniper Rifle
Djanbazan doctor-plus
Hafza with spitfire - disguised as Djanbazan with rifle+shotgun i.e. the Djanbazan lieutenant
Hafza with rifle and light shotgun (lieutenant) - disguised as Djanbazan with HMG
Remote FO with sensor, deactivator, rifle + light shotgun
Hawwa FO with infiltrate, camoflage, boarding shotgun
Hawwa FO with infiltrate, camoflage, boarding shotgun
Hawwa Hacker with assault hacking device

GROUP 2:
Yuan Yuan with chain rifle, smoke grenades, AP CCW
Sekban with Harris Link, rifle+light shogun, 360 visor
Sekban with doctor plus
Sekban with heavy rocket launcher

How good is that!
* You have a 5-man link team of MSV2 dudes with a great mix of weapons - sniper, HMG, spitfire, rifles and shotguns - 3 armour on the Djanbazans, and a doctor. BS15 base with almost no way to make it worse because range bands override cover mods, and you shoot 5 shots(!). My only thought is that maybe you want 2 HMGs instead of the sniper, just so there is some redundancy in case you take an unlucky critical, but you can fill in with the sniper. The doctor-plus guys are wasted in  this list because nothing has more than 1 wound, but they are still high WIP (14) specialists. The Hafzas are perfect because they are cheap fillers and make it hard to nail your lieutenant without wasting fire on a bad model.
* You have a second link team with 360 visors and shotguns to make them a mean objective or room guarding unit, and the important heavy rocket launcher with burst 3 (go link teams go!) for destroying other link teams, doc-bots hiding behind things they are healing, and general annoyances. This link team even has a doctor!
* 3 camoflaged, infiltrating specialists with WIP14 and boarding shotguns! And one is an assault hacker. They even have 12 phys for decent dodge rolls.
* A cheap chain rifle dude with impetuous to throw smoke for your Djanbazans!
* 6 specialists! With everything represented except Engineers, and d-charges on infiltrators for those classified objectives that you actually want engineers for.
* A sensor bot for uncovering camo markers and removing mines that might otherwise halt your Djanbazan advance - plus it's a specialist!

This list is sick! There is nothing I would fear with this list except maybe a Marut because it doesn't care about my MSV, but I could just take it on my active turn with volume of dice. And I will inevitably have specialist superiority against a TAG list. Plus my camo dudes can easily go around and eat into its order pool. Chunky links are annoying but my firepower is deep enough to beat them on my active turn when I have 5 dice to their 2 and I can kill the doctor first. Steel Phalanx is better in killing oriented missions, but I am better in specialist oriented contests. And I have smoke shooting bullshit.

And the sectorial has great stuff for all other mission types as well! For missions requiring a mass of specialists, the Ghulam can provide a <70 point link team of 5 and you can still rock another Harris link team, some MSV2 and smoke shenanigans and a contingent of infiltrating specialists. You also have access to good, cheap engineers that can link for the missions with a bonus, like beacon race. For Quadrant control, frontline, annihilation and supremacy you can bring a Jannisary link with the doctor plus to make them basically invincible, some MSV smoke shenanigans and infiltrators to cause mayhem. These guys are also heaps easy to paint - just drop some desert Khaki flats and brown wash, then drybrush once. Done.
